FederatedCloudSim
FederatedCloudSim is a versatile
simulation framework based
on the popular CloudSim Framework from CLOUDS, University of
Melbourne and was developed in the corresponding project, and extends it in the areas of SLA management, cloud
federations, monitoring and workload trace compatibility. Also a
finegrained financial model for calculating revenues and fines for
SLA-breaches has been integrated.

FederatedCloudSim v2.0.1:
Bug fixes.
FederatedCloudSim v2.0:
Bug fixes.
We also provide runnable traces (workload.zip) to be used with FederatedCloudSim.
FederatedCloudSim v1.1:
Main features:
- simulation of different federation scenarios (one to many cloud
service provider (CSPs) having each one to many data centers (DCs) and
vCSP (virtual CSPs) which act as service brokers without resources (DCs)
of their own)
- fully automized SLA management (including SLA and service request
management)
- three tier VM scheduling (Inter-DC-Level, Intra-DC-Level (same CSP)
and Inter-CSP-Level (federation)) (including different schedulers on
each level)
- ressource overprovisioning (RAM and CPU)
- processing of real world cloud worklad traces (we also released cloud
traces form a German CSP:
http://gwa.ewi.tudelft.nl/datasets/gwa-t-13-materna)
- cloud auctioning platform
- a fersatile finance model (CloudAccount)
- very comprehensive monitoring and logging (including grafical analysis
of VM migrations using Gephi (https://gephi.org/)
- XML-configuration
